Manage payments in the Little Hotelier mobile app

Learn how to process payments, send payment requests and record payments using your Little Hotelier mobile app.

Process a payment

  1. Open the reservation

  2. Tap Take payment

  3. Navigate to the Process tab

  4. Under Payment details, enter the guest’s payment details

  5. Enter the amount to be charged

  6. Optional:

    1. Add a payment note: Toggle Add note

    2. Mark payment as deposit

    3. Apply surcharge

    4. Email copy of invoice

  7. Tap Review to check payment details

  8. Tap Charge

Create and send a payment request

  1. Open the reservation

  2. Tap Take payment

  3. Navigate to the Request tab

  4. Complete the required fields

    1. Reservation ID/Reference ID

    2. Guest name

    3. Amount

    4. Reason for payment request

    5. Guest message

  5. Choose your sharing method:

    1. Email: Sends request via email

    2. SMS: Open your SMS application with the payment link

    3. Link: Share payment request via any application

  6. Tap Send request for [amount]

Record a payment

  1. Open the reservation

  2. Tap Take payment

  3. Navigate to the Record tab

  4. Under Payment details, enter the amount to record

  5. Select the payment date

  6. Choose payment type and complete required fields

  7. Optional:

    1. Add a payment note: Toggle Add not

    2. Mark payment as deposit

    3. Apply surcharge

    4. Email copy of invoice

  8. Check the Total amount and, if applicable, make sure it includes any necessary surcharges and/or fees

  9. Tap Review to check payment details

  10. Tap Record [amount]
