Managing reservations in the Little Hotelier mobile app

Learn how to manage reservations through your Little Hotelier mobile app, including how to create new bookings, modifying existing ones and cancellations.

Important notes:

  • Only manual reservations created in Little Hotelier or via Direct Booking can be edited in Little Hotelier. Reservations made via OTAs (channels) must be modified or cancelled by the guest via the channel they used to book.

  • Cancelling a reservation cannot be reversed

  • Adding notes to a reservation are not visible to guests

Identifying the booking source from Reservation ID

The Reservation ID number tells you where the booking came from:

  • LH: Manual booking created in Little Hotelier

  • BBN or BB: bookings made via your website's booking engine (Direct Booking)

  • Channel code: Each channel (OTA) has its own unique code (e.g., BDC for Booking.com)

Create a new reservation

  1. From Reservations: Tap Add button

  2. From Calendar: Tap Add button and select Reservation or tap and hold an empty room

  3. Select check-in and check-out dates

  4. Select room type

    1. Available: Shows only unbooked rooms

    2. All: Shows all inventory, including booked rooms

  5. Select rate

    1. Choose from an existing rate

    2. Add custom rate

  6. Enter discount

  7. Select room

  8. Add number of occupants

  9. Tap Next

  10. Add another room

  11. Add Extras

    1. Select existing

    2. Create custom extra

  12. Add guest details

  13. Add internal notes

  14. Enter payment details

  15. Tap Create reservation

Edit a reservation

  1. Find the reservation through Calendar or Reservations

  2. Tap the pencil icon

  3. Make necessary changes

  4. Tap Save

Date change

  1. Open Calendar

  2. Drag and drop reservation to new dates

  3. Choose whether to send confirmation email

Change reservation status

  1. Find reservation through Calendar or Reservations

  2. Open reservation details

  3. Select new status

    1. Confirmed

    2. Checked-in

    3. Checked-out

    4. Cancel reservation

Important: Only manual reservations (created in Front Desk or via Direct Booking) can be edited in Little Hotelier Front Desk. Reservations made via OTAs (channels) must be modified or cancelled by the guest via the channel they used to book.
