Important: What happens when you disable a channel
When you disable a channel connection, inventory updates stop being sent from your platform to the channel. However, disabling the channel does not automatically:
Send a stop sell to the channel
Delete your rates from the channel's extranet
Close your rates or availability on the channel
Exception: Airbnb is the only channel that automatically removes rates when disabled.
You must manually manage or delete your rates directly in the channel's extranet (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) after disabling the connection in your platform. If you don't do this, your property may continue receiving bookings on the channel even though Little Hotelier is no longer updating inventory.
Disable a channel connection
To disable or disconnect a channel:
Navigate to Distribution
Find the channel you wish to disable
Select Update channel settings
Click Disable connection to [channel name]
Important notes:
Disabling a channel stops inventory updates from being sent from Little Hotelier to the channel for all channel rates
This will not send a stop sell or delete the rates in the channel’s extranet (except for Airbnb)
You will need to manually manage or delete your rates directly in the channel’s extranet
Disable a single channel rate
If you only want to disconnect one specific channel rate rather than the entire channel:
Navigate to Distribution
Find the channel
Select the Room rates mapping tab
Click on the channel rate you wish to disable
Select Disconnect from channel
Remove a channel
To completely remove a disabled channel from Little Hotelier:
First, ensure you delete the connection from the channel’s extranet
An admin user (or main contact from the property) must send a removal request to our support team
When removing a channel:
It does not automatically end your contract with that channel. You must delete the channel room rates in their extranet.
All the mapping and data will be permanently lost
You won’t be able to view any past reservations from this channel
