How to place your Little Hotelier subscription on hold

Updated over 6 months ago

Instead of cancelling your subscription, you can temporarily suspend your Little Hotelier account for up to 3 months at a reduced fee. This option is helpful during renovations, government restrictions or unexpected closures.

Account hold is not available for Little Hotelier Basics accounts.

Before you begin

  • Only users with billing permissions can submit requests

  • To check permissions, navigate to Property Name > Billing > Billing users

  • Hold periods must be in whole months (e.g., January to March)

  • Customers on a contract may have limitations on using the hold option

Important

  • Rooms will remain bookable online during the hold period

  • Update your inventory before requesting a hold (check pricing, availability, stop sells and any other restrictions)

  • An upfront hold payment will replace your regular subscription fee

  • After the hold period, you’ll return to full subscription pricing

During the hold period

  • Channels stay connected to receive future bookings

  • User access restricted. User logins will be disabled to prevent any accidental changes.

Request a hold

  1. Navigate to Property Name > Billing in the top right

  2. Select Accounts

  3. Click Manage account

  4. Click Continue and select Temporarily place my account on hold

  5. Complete required fields

Our team will contact you to confirm details and gather additional information.

Demand Plus (Hotel Metasearch)

  • Option to suspend or cancel

  • After cancellation, you’ll lose access to reconcile Demand Plus reservations

  • Complete final reconciliation before cancelling

  • Accounts team will send a final invoice for future reservations

Reactivate your account

Before your hold ends

  • We’ll contact you near the reactivation date to confirm reopening details and next steps

After reactivation

  • Billing and user access is reactivated

  • If your property has completed renovations, remember to:

    • pdate room configurations

    • Review room types and rates

    • Check channel connections and mappings
