Understanding restrictions

Inventory restrictions help you maximise revenue across your connected channels. You can apply these from either:

  • Inventory grid (go to Distribution > Inventory)

  • Rate plans (go to Rooms and rates > Rate plans)

Available restrictions

  • Stop sell: Closes availability for specific dates

  • Closed to arrivals (CTA): Prevents check-ins on specific dates

  • Closed to departures (CTD): Prevents check-outs on specific dates

  • Min. length of stay (MinLOS): Sets the minimum number of nights required for a booking

  • Max. length of stay (MaxLOS): Sets the maximum number of nights for a booking

Managing restrictions in the inventory grid

  1. Navigate to Distribution > Inventory

  2. Use the dropdown menu to select your restriction type (Stop sell, CTA, CTD, Min stay, Max stay)

  3. Make changes by:

    1. Updating individual cells for specific dates

    2. Using the Bulk update or quick bulk update lightning button for multiple changes

  4. Click Save

To view channel-specific restrictions, expand the room rate by clicking the down arrow.

Setting default restrictions

  3. Under Restrictions and Inclusions, set your:
