Little Hotelier offers a comprehensive suite of reports to help you manage your property more effectively. These reports are divided into three main categories:

  1. Operational: For day-to-day management

  2. Strategic: For long-term planning and analysis

  3. Insights: For market comparison and pricing optimisation

Each category provides specific tools designed to help you make informed decisions about your property management and business strategy.

Operational reports

Operational reports provide essential information to help you manage daily activities and maintain accurate records.

Check-in

  • View all check-ins and check-outs over your selected date range

  • Monitor expected arrivals and departures

  • Print registration forms

Payments

  • View all payments captured in Little Hotelier

  • Filter by date range, transaction type, payment and card type

Daily transactions

  • Get a daily summary of payments and reservations

  • Monitor daily business performance at a glance

Guests

  • Access details of all guests who have stayed at your property

  • Filter by date range

Government

  • Generate tax reports for properties in Australia and New Zealand to comply with local regulatory requirements

Accounting

  • Export your invoice data

  • Integrate your accounting software with Little Hotelier

Spanish police

  • Available for properties in Spain only

  • Generate guest records as required by Spanish regulations

Revenue

Seven different revenue reports provide a snapshot of your property's financial performance over set periods of time:

  1. Summary: Provides a high-level overview of total revenue for a specific period

  2. Room Type: Breaks down revenue by room types to help evaluate popularity and pricing strategy

  3. Room: Analyses revenue by individual physical rooms

  4. Room Rate: Evaluates revenue based on different rate plans

  5. Channel: Shows revenue breakdown by booking channels

  6. Taxes: Lists all collected taxes within the specified period

  7. Extras: Analyses revenue from additional services and items

Extras

  • View a detailed breakdown of all extra items purchased

  • See which extras are most popular with guests

Statistics

  • Access daily key performance indicators (KPIs) for your property

Insights reports

These reports help you analyse market trends, compare your performance against competitors, and optimise your pricing strategy.

Pace

  • Compare your booking rates across different time periods

  • Access up to one year of forward-looking pace data alongside historical reservation information

Competitor rates

  • View real-time comparisons between your property's rates and those of up to ten competitors

  • Make informed pricing decisions based on market positioning

Rate parity

  • View your rates across five leading Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and Direct booking

  • Maintain consistent pricing across all channels and address any pricing discrepancies quickly

Booking performance

  • Access detailed insights into your property's performance metrics

  • Analyse which rooms, rates, channels, and source markets generate the most reservations

Accessing and running reports

  1. Navigate to Reports

  2. Select the report category and specific report you wish to view

  3. Apply your desired filters

  4. Click Run Report

Exporting reports

Most reports can be exported in various formats:

  • Click Export to create and download reports as a CSV file

  • Click Print at the bottom of the report to print
