Connect to Chekin

Chekin is an app available in the Little Hotelier App Store. It is not a booking channel.

Checkin is an app that connects with Little Hotelier as your PMS to automate check-ins, enhance guest experience, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Overview

Chekin saves time for both you and your guests by automating manual check-in tasks.

Chekin helps:

  • Verify guests identification documents with biometric comparison

  • Customise digital registration forms and short rental contracts

  • Automate statistics reports, police reports and tourist tax calculation

  • Send virtual keys for third-party smart lock systems

For properties in supported regions, Chekin also:

  • Submits guest reports to local authorities

  • Manage tourist taxes reporting requirements

Chekin compliance

Chekin can automatically handle legal guest registration requirements in these regions:

Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dubai, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom.

If your property is located outside these regions:

  • You can still use Chekin’s other features

  • Contact Chekin support for guidance on local compliance requirements

In supported regions, Chekin helps:

  • Police reports: Submitting guest details to local law enforcement

  • Statistics reports: Providing monthly statistics reports to the government

  • Tourist tax: Recording guest stays and exemptions

How it works

  1. Guest makes a reservation or reservation is manually added in Little Hotelier

  2. Guest and reservation details will be automatically synced to the Chekin app

  3. Chekin sends the guest an online registration link

  4. After guest registration, Chekin handles any required reporting

When connected to Chekin, it will not show connected in your platform like standard OTA channels - for connection queries, contact Chekin directly.

Set up Chekin

  1. Locate and select Chekin

  2. Complete the connection form

  3. Wait for Chekin to contact you about account creation or connection

  4. Configure your Chekin platform and customise registration forms

To check if your connection to the Chekin app is active or for questions about setup, contact Chekin support directly.

Disconnect Chekin

To disconnect the Chekin app from Little Hotelier, contact Chekin to close or suspend your account according to your contract terms. Chekin will notify our team to deactivate the connection.
